Winter Along the Gunflint Photography Workshop

A cabin on the Gunflint TRail in northern Minnesota.

By late February, Lake Superior can get covered in pack ice. Thick sheets of pack ice get pushed up onto the shore making a maze of blue ice to walk through. Combine the icy Lake Superior sunrises with the frozen inland areas along the Gunflint Trail, an icy inland river snowshoe to an 80-foot frozen waterfall that ice climbers climb, and snow-covered overlooks for an inland sunsets and you have my Winter Along the Gunflint Photography Workshop.
