Northern Landscape Calendar 2025
A year of landscape images from northern Minnesota. These photos, taken by landscape photographer and outdoor photography instructor Bryan Hansel (me), cover a wide range of subjects in the northland.
For this year’s calendar many of the images come exclusively from Cook County, Minnesota. The images have been taken within the last year. The first two are from Grand Marais and are part of my Artist’s Point Project. March is from Horseshoe Bay. The Hjordis sails out onto Lake Superior during its first voyage of 2024 for April. In May, I show the Cascade River at flood. The waterfall on the left is usually dry and where that area shows a stream is usually a hiking trail. The night sky image is from The Tombolo. July’s image comes from the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Then we go back to Artist’s Point in August. The fall images are from Carlton Peak and the Hovland Woods SNA. The splash is from Cascade River State Park, and the sea stack is from a location on Lake Superior.
This unique calendar makes a great gift for lovers of Minnesota and Lake Superior. For Lake Superior Calendar lovers and Minnesota calendar lovers, this a popular calendar.
